MARY REGNIER-LEIGH

MARY REGNIER-LEIGH

Solicitor and senior consultant with Child & Child. Has lived and worked in Belgravia for 12 years. Was a member of L B Lambeth and the former ILEA. She was a member of two non-departmental public bodies and chaired one for 6 years. Has been a trustee of several charities and is vice-chairman of National Osteoporosis Society. She is a director Victoria Interchange Group and is involved in local societies and amenity groups.

 
RANDA HANNA Randa Hanna is an architect trained at The Architectural Association in London. She worked with several prominent architects before setting up her own architectural practice, Map Projects, in 2001. The practice is active internationally, undertaking projects in Switzerland, France, Hong Kong and New York. Randa is trilingual and works and lives in Belgravia.She has been actively involved in local planning issues for more than 10 years. She headed the campaign on the Chelsea Barracks, negotiating with Qatari Diar on new design proposals. She is married with three children.

HELENE ORATORE Helene Oratore began her career in the Law, then moved to Investment Banking.  She has been a resident of Belgravia since 1999 and became involved in local issues at that time. Helene’s particular passion is the environment and she has worked tirelessly with Grosvenor, the Police, Westminster Officials and Councillors to maintain and improve the environment of Belgravia.

NIGEL HUGHES Is a Chartered Building Surveyor who joined Grosvenor in 1985 since when he has held a number of senior roles, principally focused on the London Estate. In his current role as The Estate Surveyor, Nigel’s principal remit is to ensure that Mayfair and Belgravia continue to thrive as sustainable urban villages in the 21st Century. Nigel is a Trustee of the Grosvenor Pension Scheme, a Director of the Better Buildings Partnership and Vice-Chair of the Victoria Business Improvement District. He lives in Kingston Upon Thames and is married with one son.

SANDRA WAGG JORDAN Member of Planning Committee, formerly an investment banking executive, Sandra is currently Trustee and Chairman of a Charity involved with young people and the former Chairman of The Friends of Francis Holland. Sandra has lived in Belgravia for almost 20 years and is married with two children.

LUCY ELPHINSTONE Mrs Lucy Elphinstone, Headmistress of Francis Holland School, Sloane Square, has had careers in publishing, counselling, hospitality and property development prior to teaching and believes passionately in preparing young women for the challenges of the workplace in years to come.  FHS is an educational environment which develops character, creativity and courage, not just academic attainment.  It greatly values the support of the local residents, many of whom are parents, as well as engagement with the community.

Joanna has been Hon.Treasurer and administrator to the Pimlico Road Association for over 10 years, involved with all areas of planning, development and general representation for the businesses on the street.Joanna feels contemporary and innovative development of the area needs to be carefully integrated into the historic legacy of existing architecture. She fully supports the aims of the Belgravia Forum.
